The Future

He said I am waiting right here
Still here in the midst of it all
I stared right through his eyes
But staring so deep, I saw myself
Seeing myself so clearly through his eye's lenses
Then, right now and the next second makes me tense
I looked forward to the next second cause that's who he was
He said I am waiting right here and now
But I never seemed to get a hold of him
Cause every time I thought I had him within my grasp
He became my next second with a new now
He really actually is here cause all I have to do is see him
It's crazy how I thought I looked forward to him
When he had been here all along
The future, yes him, is here
