The strength of his weakness

She felt marred, he saw her as made
She felt broken, he was willing to pick up the pieces
She felt unloved, he didn't mind giving it all to her
And when she cried, he made his shoulders available
So tired of the vulnerability, he was willing to be her strength
"Forever is just a start" he whispered
She never realized how much of his weakness she was
He figured out he had to be her strength
Without strength in a weakness and weakness in strength, the passion for perfection is never born
Her weaknesses only made him realize how strong he has to be
The more she revealed, the stronger he became
The more she opened up, the closer he came
"Stay with me" He offered
Let's build together homes that can withstand stormy weather
Let's build together and tell stories that have no end

My Reflection

He told me what he wanted and I didn't feel able
I laughed real hard cause it seemed impossible
He smiled angrily cause I thought he was joking
All of a sudden I cried happily cause I just got broken
How do I reflect all of you, I'd crack and probably shatter
He said we would get through the process together
He said I want you to be my mirror
I chose you because you can be molded if you let me
I know you are a poor reflector like glass, am sure they told you
But you'd shine brighter when you are not transparent
Cause the world won't understand you
I want to coat you cause I am more precious than Silver or Gold
I will strengthen you and make you withstand extreme temperatures
Not only would you reflect my light but my sound too
I want you to be my mirror cause they need to know me through you

Find Your Place

My eyes decided to see each other for the first time
To discuss which of them saw the ear first
While the other fingers wondered why the ring finger was the only one with a vein to the heart
And toenails wondered why fingernails grow nearly 4times faster than them
And then the brain uses 20% of the total oxygen produced by the body
I can't please everybody, Life said to herself
I believe everything is in proportion unless something just has to change
Do you know how much energy it takes for me to create new connections cause of a new memory you just had, Brain replied
But the skin retorted that the brain feels no pain like her
Life isn't about competing but finding your place and functioning
You will find your purpose and happiness there

Time might not heal but it reveals

It has no eyes but it sure sees
The reflection of who we truly are
Unmasking the secrets of those who are
Now I canvass with time with deep intents
I asked" Should I love her closely or from afar"
